FABULASTIC thats how i'll describe this trip of mine.
Trust me guys i've never had so much of fun in any of my picnics as much as i had in this.It was an amazing place.
And guess what the overall expense for the entire trip was around 150 bucks so certainly its a good option for a cheap and exicting outing.
But a word of caution this place is to be visited only in rainy season and be prepared as the journey would be so exaustive, that by the end of the day u wont be left with energy even to walk, but yes the place is easy to trek so no special instruments will be rquired, neither its risky but certainly not for small children.
road to ambivali village
that's our tuk-tuk
This place is located south karjat some 28KM.
take a "tuk-tuk" from the station to ambivali village,he will charge you some 700 bucks.
From there start walking towards the peth village. Its mostly straight way with some minor tweaks which i cant even call trekking.
some of the best pics which i feel i have included here, i cant upload all i have some 300+ photos.
But here's a glimpse of the view that we get while going towards Peth village.
No the really part starts we have to climb a peak to reach the actual fort, to reach the base of the peak we have by now reached only peth village but our aim was to reach the highest point so we started our journey.
can u see that pinnacle we reached at the top of it.
This part was damn exausting but worth it just see the view that we had a chance to see.
this was the pic taken from highest position
Oops...!!! i almost forgot to tell er during our journey to peth village we even took a bath in a so callede water-fall.
But i must say it was no where close to being called as a water-fall but still w didnt miss even a single chance to do some "KAANDI"
MY GANG !!!
The ascend was bad and by the time we reached dadar station none of us was in a condition to even stand.
Legs where paining as if they have been amputed and exactly tabhi satish bola "GANPATI BAPPA MORYA, BHARAT MATA KI JAY JAWANO AGGE BADHO",so listening to him we started walking and finally at the end of the day everyone reached home safely.
I promise certainly i'll upload even the video taken from the hiighest position but make be sometime later.
Till then have agreat time...................................BYE
